Profile: Hey! I'm Action Andy. You probably have two questions for me. "Why is your name Action Andy, and why should I listen to your opinion about movies?" Both are easy answers. First, my name is Action Andy because action movies are my favorite! See, I told you they're easy answers. Action movies let me turn my brain off and enjoy some senseless violence loosely held together by a what could potentially be called a story. Ok, for real, I work hard (haha, as I type this at work, but seriously...) and most of the time, like I said, I just want to shut down and watch something. Don't get me wrong, I love all types of movies (besides Musicals...ugh) and here's why, which is also the answer to your second question; I worked at a movie theatre chain for over 7 years. I know what I'm talking about. Back in my hayday I saw just about everything that hit our screens from Academy Award winners like The Departed (which I drank beer during) to utterly terrible films like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or Shark Boy and Lava Girl. One of the many times I wonder why I subject myself to some things. ANYWAY, I hope you enjoy what I have to write. I do it light-heartedly if you haven't noticed yet.
